Upper Blepharoplasty: Upper blepharoplasty, also known as upper eyelid surgery, is a cosmetic procedure that removes excess skin and fat from the upper eyelids. It can be performed to improve the appearance of drooping eyelids, reduce the appearance of bags under the eyes, and/or improve peripheral vision that is obstructed by excess skin.

The procedure is performed under local anesthesia with sedation and takes about one hour. Most patients are able to return to work or school within a few days of surgery, but the stitches will be removed after about a week. The results of upper blepharoplasty are typically long-lasting, but the effects of aging will eventually continue.

Neck lift under local anesthesia:

Neck lifts are typically performed under general anesthesia, but we performed under local anesthesia with sedation for this patient due to aging concerns. This option is often preferred by patients who have medical conditions that make general anesthesia risky.

To perform a neck lift under local anesthesia, the surgeon will inject a diluted local anesthetic into the neck. This will numb the area and prevent pain during the procedure. The surgeon will then make incisions behind and around the ears. Through these incisions, the surgeon will remove excess skin and fat, tighten the underlying muscles, and reposition the neck tissues. The incisions will then be closed with sutures.
